Plants are independent organisms, but domestic ones rely on us for survival, showing their state through growth or wilting—often too slowly for us to notice in time. I wanted a faster response.
In this work, plants rotate when approached, creating the illusion of interaction. However, humans still control the movement, while the plants, through unpredictable growth, become co-authors, altering the work's appearance. Motion sensors activate rotating stands, causing the vases to spin randomly at varying speeds.
